Russell Logan

Founder

A visionary leader with a genius for M&A, Russell is your trusted guide for a successful sale.

As a senior executive management consultant, Russell has inspired Fortune 500 leaders and worked with them to improve corporate strategy, product marketing plans, and business development programs and demostrated keen skills in strategy formulation/implementation, mergers and acquisition, and marketing strategy.

Russell has earned a coveted certification as a Certified Board AdvisorTM (CBA), recognizing his excellence in professional-managerial talents, executive leadership, and board directorship. The CBA designation shows that the holder is a proven leader with a commitment to taking personal responsibility for competent corporate governance and strategic decision-making.

Russell earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from UVA. He served as chair and founding trustee of the UVA IDEA Fund, leading overall management of the fund, which augments the University of Virginia’s Investments in programs and resources that help create a more inclusive and vibrant community.

Mark Sadler

Partner

A deeply knowledgeable, hands-on partner on the road to your next success, Mark Sadler brings more than 25 years of industry experience in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector, working for some of the largest carriers globally, as well as Silicon Valley Internet infrastructure and IoT software companies.

Mark has also worked with mid-sized and small software companies in areas such as enterprise SaaS and mobile commerce, including significant involvement as an equity principal in a mobile/social ticketing startup with real time data analytics. His experience has coalesced around 2 main tracks: strategy and corporate business development—including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic partnerships and alliances, and other strategic investments—and product management/product marketing, both with a strong quantitative foundation in finance and business analysis.

Consulting Clients: Verizon Wireless, Vodafone, Verizon Business, Lumen Technologies (f/k/a CenturyLink); Movius, Neutral Tandem, and a Mobile Ticketing Start-Up.

Mark holds a BS in Business Administration with a dual major in Finance & Accounting from Drexel University, along with Graduate Management Certificates in Executive Education on Technology Strategy & Innovation from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and in Leadership, Marketing & International Business from Johns Hopkins University.

Cheryl Logan

Partner

Cheryl Freeman Logan is a partner at Freeman Logan M&A Advisors. She obtained her Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Darden School of Business. Cheryl is certified as a Program Management Professional and holds a PROSCI Change Management certification, highlighting her skills in program and organizational management.

She has spent 11 years at Fannie Mae where she serves as a Director in the internal Continuous Improvement Consulting group. In this role, Cheryl focuses on executive coaching, strategic business and operational planning, organizational change management, process improvement, and problem-solving. Before joining Fannie Mae, she spent 16 years in consulting with Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton, concentrating on IT project and program management, lean-agile management, and financial management.

Within Freeman Logan, Cheryl is responsible for leading the Exit Prep Academy, managing the curriculum design and the overall strategy. Her experience in consulting, strategy, and change management plays a key role in providing effective guidance to clients navigating the M&A process.
